Pet Adoption

Making it Pawsable

Downtown Dogs is immensely proud of our “Making it Pawsable” program. Each year we foster almost 100 homeless

dogs. We act as a foster home for 3 animal rescue groups who work tirelessly to help pets who have been abandoned find loving, dedicated forever families. Of course there is always more animals needing homes than there are adoptive families and foster homes so the groups must turn away many pets in need. Our participation with these groups allows them to take in and help more animals. If you are adding a new furry family member consider rescuing a dog.

Meet Millie

Millie’s family loved her but due to house forclosure they could not keep her. She has 3 legs but that doesn’t slow her down one bit!

Meet Dixie

Dixie is a puppy mill rescue. Due to the appaling conditions she lived in without human contact she is wary at first but is a love bug once she warms up. She does very well with other dogs right from the start as is a good mama to the puppies at daycare.

Meet Baby Peach

Baby Peach is a sweet young female pit bull. If you want a girl that will be your running partner and want only to please you, Baby Peach is your girl!

Meet Dora

One look at her sweet face and you will be hooked. Dora is a young female black lab who lives for fun!
